Lincoln businessman Roy Christensen is the latest candidate in the running for City Council. In an exclusive interview with KFOR News, Christensen says Lincoln’s families and small businesses need a strong voice and listener on the council. He points out the recent construction boom as one of the success stories for future city growth and Lincoln is doing well economically. Christensen also tells KFOR News job growth and keeping young adults here are key to the city’s future. As the city grows, Christensen says one thing the council needs to take a look at are the possibility of increasing staffing levels with police and fire and rescue. Christensen owns an audiology business and has lived in Lincoln for 16 years. Christensen joins at least two other candidates along with incumbent Gene Carroll in the Council race for the upcoming spring elections.
